Have you worried about that someone else is using mobile number registered on your identity ? So don’t worry, now you can find out how many mobile numbers are registered on your name.
The Telecom Analytics for Fraud management and COnsumer Protection has started a online service in some states which allows people to find out how many numbers registered on their Aadhar Card. This service helps to reduce frauds.
Please follow these steps to use this feature :-
- 1. First open this website https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/
- 2. Now enter your mobile number in the textfield.
- 3. When you submit your mobile number you will receive an OTP.
- 4. After entering OTP, all the phone numbers which is linked to your Aadhar will be listed.
- 5. If any unknown number is displayed means someone else is using phone number linked to your identity. You should report to stop thar number.
Note : Official government websites always ends with .gov.in .nic.in. Please do not enter otp on unknown links.
